Here for your consideration is an exceptional Tiffany Stone (Bertrandite) Gemstone Cabochon. This pseudomorph of opal-beta-cristobalite exhibits brecciated flows of semi translucent pastel lavender with Quartz druzy, Bots and subtle porcelain-like Calcite whites. Bertrandite is a somewhat rare mineral that comes from the Brush Wellman Beryllium mines, near Delta in the west desert of Juab County, Utah. This material contains trace amounts of Beryllium. Natural, untreated and "unstabilized". Skillfully hand cut and polished by Lexx. Vitreous polish front and back. Standard radius dome.
This attractive cabochon will make a wonderful collector's piece, wire wrap or precious metal setting or a pendant or something special in your next project.
