Fireworks Obsidian Gemstone Cabochon Hand Crafted By LEXX STONES 57 Carats

$95.00

Here for your consideration is an somewhat rare Fireworks Obsidian cabochon. Technically Thompsonite in Obsidian, and sometimes referred to as "Flower Obsidian" this unusual type of volcanic glass from Mexico exhibits interesting chrysanthemum type bursts or fireworks exploding. Thompsonite was originally thought to be it's own mineral, but has since been identified as a variety of Zeolite.

High polish front and back. Standard radius dome.

This attractive cabochon will make a bold wire wrap or precious metal setting. Quite an heirloom collectible as well.

Skillfully hand cut and polished by Lexx. Photographed dry under full spectrum LED's to capture every detail.
