Here for your consideration is an exceptionally rare high grade Charoite cabochon. This particular specimen has an incredibly chatoyant deep pearly, silky purple swirling ribbon flow, tight grain, and exhibits a luscious lavender hue that can only come from quality Charoite. Extreme chatoyancy! Rare flashes of Pyrite! Standard radius dome. Vitreous polish front and back.

This material is mined only two months out of the year where miners are flown in by helicopter, and is in very short supply due to the harsh weather. Lapidary quality Charoite is very scarce and can be very difficult to work.
