Here for your consideration is an extremely rare Victoria Stone cabochon. We normally don't get into cutting man made materials, but this one has a special cool factor and history to it.

Victoria Stone is a rare combination of quartz, feldspar, calcite and magnesite. Also known as Imori it was originally created and small batch manufactured by Dr. S. Imori in the 1960's using a secret formula of natural stones, high pressure, and months of cooling to form unique cat-eye effects and crystallization. Standard grade Victoria Stone is mineralogically similar to Nephrite Jade. It is not considered synthetic or imitation but rather reconstructed natural stone.  

Very high watery polish all around. The way authentic Victoria Stone reflects light is unmistakable. Some tiny micro fractures are common and add to the complexity of the stone.
