Here for your consideration is an outstanding Royal Sahara Jasper cabochon.
This jasper was discovered in 2006 in North Africa by our friends Janet and George Sechler of Oasis Prospecting while on an expedition in North Africa. RSJ is estimated it to be 35-45 million years old and possibly formed from molten mud flows when the North African Sahara Desert was a combination of volcanic regions, tropical forests and saltwater seas.. Wonderful scenic abstract trippy orbs reminiscent of the best American fine porcelain jaspers with cool metallic dendrites.
Vitreous polish front and back. Standard radius dome.
This attractive cabochon will make a bold wire wrap or precious metal setting. Quite an heirloom collectible as well.
